The Arena · the daily challenge
Today is #23.
Four games set the same puzzle for everyone each day: 2026-10-24, counted in UTC, so the day turns at midnight UTC wherever you are. The server replays every result. Signed in with a player name, your first finished attempt of the day goes on the board of that game; for Mines that is your first cleared field. Play it again as often as you like: it counts once per player name.

How the day works
- The puzzle follows from the day number, so the browser and the server agree without talking first.
- The server accepts a daily result for today, and for the day before and after, so a clock on the other side of midnight still counts.
- On a board only your first replayed attempt counts, played signed in. Equal scores share a place. With a hidden nickname your place stays and shows as “a replayed round”. Rounds played without a player name are counted below the board, without a place.
- Practice modes are unlimited and count on the site, not on a board or in a streak.
- Signed in, your daily streak counts on the server and shows on your player page once you turn it on. A plaque for a long streak is planned for the Wall of Fame; it is not there yet.
Midnight UTC. Not your midnight. I checked.
